My new favorite song is Lazy Eye by the Silversun Pickups. Check them out I love them! If you like them, you'll also probably like The Shins and they have a new album out called Wincing the Night Away (more Indi-rock).
There's this band that started out as like a local-garage-band type gig and now they're making it a little bigger. They're called the Black Keys. They're a little bluesy and I like them a lot too (kind of AC/DC-ish, but not as heavy). Their new album is called Magic Potion and it's got some good songs on it too.
The Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, and Red Hot Chili Peppers are always good stand-bys too.

I guess you can put just about anything you want on there.. I've been told I'm stuck in the 80's with all the classic rock I listen to. Some of my fav's are Ted Nugent, ZZ Top, Loverboy, and Journey. If you have any cd's laying around just load em up on your computer and you can load them from there to your ipod.

try to break away from rock. Try Akon and Eminem's song Smack that. Or try lips of an angel by Hinder.
