Sounds like you have it plugged into the headphone outlet instead of the microphone.

If you have braces, then you may be receiving and hearing the very first response to the signals we sent out into space during the late 60's. try to sing in the shower with it, and let us know what you hear then, ******Warning, Do not try this while the DYNAMIC MIC is plugged into any circuitry, or Electronic equipment*****

dynamic microphones are for instruments!! not singing! they use it for drums and placed infront of amps to be amplified more.
i am glad i'm not part of the women that don't know anything.
american idol sucks why did you buy a mic...

You have it plugged into the WRONG JACK!
Try another jack before you ruin the microphone!

if you can hear from it youve plugged it into the wrong port. remember when you get it in the right one to un mute it, windows has the mic set to mute by default
