I actually looked into joining the clinical study. My spouse (until this year when she had her tubes tied) was terrible about taking her pill (or any pill for that matter). This left us with birth control that we had to "remember" to put on or in or whatever. If things got carried away, we would just go for it and then we would worry until her next period.
I would have done it in a heart beat, just so I wouldn't have to worry about an unplanned pregnancy (not that this is an issue now).
On top of that, I think alot of men probably feel the way I do.

Ahem! Birth control is not the responsibility of the woman only! It takes two to Tango, so if BOTH partners won't use it, then you BOTH get what you deserve in my opinion! That's just me though. On the flip side, Condoms will never be as replaceable as the next safest contraceptive to abstinence. However, a male oral contraceptive would greatly lessen the degree of unwanted pregnancy, especially if female partner is also using some form of contraceptive also. When the testing and the FDA and all those folks have discussed it all, I'd be willing to see how well it works!

If you and your partner desire to use birth control, I don't think it matters who actually prevents the conception. As long as you both agree on something. And if you aren't responsible enough to work out a mutual agreement then you shouldn't be having sex in the first place.

Like female birth control pill also helps them gals regulate their periods and provides them with iron or whatever minerals they have. Let them carry this albatross around their necks. And anyways, I am losing everything anyways. What If we confuse and I eat my gal'spills and she eats mine?
I m not gonna take any such pill. What if its an American conspiracy to neuter all non American/Christian males? And what if its permanent? Not to mention, testosterone is responsible for beards as well. I am not getting rid of my french beard And i don't wanna grow boobs. Male breast occurs when testosterone production is low.
A large box of Durex please! .

Sure, why not? I am already willing to use a condom why not take a pill or monthly shot or whatever. So long as it doesnt make me grow breasts or anything funky like that.

i'd never do that. I mean yes i can fathom to some degree what women feel from the pain and all the burden of having to cary a child within them and all but i still wouldn't do it. i mean think of it this way... gay marriage and gay people are still shunned and looked down in society even here in the U.S so what makes you think that they would let that become legal? i woulnd't do it i would let my wife take that burden and not me... i don't care if you call me mean that's what i think
