Actually i say Jared (the youngers one) i went to school with him and saw some of his AAA Thunder Bay Kings games. He is GOOD

eric staal is good jordan is better and i understand the younger brother is supposed to be even better(i think his name is marc).so watch out nhl!!!!! the two that are already playing are great. i think jordan is the better of the two,he just quietly slips in there and he scores!!!! he isn't as flashy or mouthy as eric and i like that in a player.

While all the Staal brothers are extremely talented, Eric, by being a dominant scorer in the league last season and then leading his team to a Stanley Cup victory, has already put himself on a good early trajectory for the hall of fame.
Denis Savard and Dale Hawerchuk are both in there, never won a cup, and their best seasons were no more dominant in terms of scoring rank in the NHL than Staal last year.
I am certainly not saying Staal has achieved Savard or Hawerchuk status yet. Merely that he has already set the bar high enough that the younger Staals could turn out to be very good players but never meet that level.
I would say the smart odds are on Eric. But time will certainly tell.

All the hockey 'experts' in the media say that the youngest one, Jared, is the best of the lot but I just can't see him topping what Jordan has done in his rookie year. If Jordan continues playing like he has this season doesn't have a 'sophomore slump' next season I just can't see Jared topping that. I think Jordan is bettter than Marc and Eric.

I personally think Marc Staal is the best Staal, from watching him on the IIHF World Juniors. But, honestly, they're all good, I mean Jordan has so many shorthanded goals and Eric's already won a Stanely Cup. I hear Jared is coming on really strong so I dunno. They're all so good! But, my bet's with Marc Staal.

In my biased opinion (I'm a Canes fan), I think Eric is the best. However, from what I've heard about Jordan, he's going to be great.

the youngest staal brother ( can't think of his name) is supposed to be by far the best. ( he is only 16 or 17 now) and will be a great player in the NHL.
