Was Macbeth a victim or did he choose the course of events in the play??

What is the significance of bad weather in this play?

Very much so. He was a victim of his wife's greed and jealousy. He tried to please her - as any co-dependent person would. The significance of the bad weather I think is that God wasnt happy with the events occurring. It also served to more or less cloak Macbeth while he did his deed.
