Hi I live in Baltimore which is about 45 min from DC. If you are into politics and things you can go visit the different sites around. There is Arlington National Cemetery, Lincoln and Washington Monuments, Capital Building, White house and the Smithsonian, Air and Space Museum, and the IMAX theater. You should check out a DC club. I would suggest Love or Zanzibar on the waterfront, H2O (all depends on what sort of music you like, but they are hot spots with the locals) You should also get some seafood at Phillips restaurant which is also on the waterfront right next to H20 and Zanzibar. You could also take a trip to Baltimore and visit the Harbor. Nice shopping there plus it is a hot tourist spot. Hope this helps enjoy your trip.

I live in Maryland, a few minutes from DC. It depends on what you like to do, but an ideal day in DC for me is to walk down 7th street in North West near the Verizon Center. A lot of stores, a few good restaurants. Then if you walk down a little farther, you can find a fun bookstore called Olssons. It has a nice cafe, and a nice music section. After dinner at a nice restaurant, maybe in China Town, go a few streets up to the 930 club and catch a concert, you can usually get in for between 15 and 30 dollars. If you want me to show you around town give me an email ;)

fun day? if you consider getting mugged by the blacxks fun, or want to watch the black gangs have drive-by shootings, and gang wars, then that would be fun! or how about watching all! the black drug dealers selling dope on streets? or what about people dying from overdoses on streets of D.C?seriously, washington dc is a very violent place, and only thing to do is sigt see the lincoln memorial, white house, and a few other places! and even then, you had better! have an armed security force! good luck with that hellhole!

seems such as you're actually not involved interior the attractions that DC has to grant - except you have an activity interior the numerous museums. that's great to check out the distinctive outdoors stuff that occurs. you ought to head off for the Shenandoah throughway, and notice that national Park, yet closer in, you are able to pass to significant Falls park in super Falls, close to Arlington, and Rock Creek Park in DC for some outdoors pastime. you will desire to attempt eating on the Capitol city Brewing company, DC's brewpub. There are a number of branches; i've got been to the single next to Union station and the single downtown. the two is definitely metro available. In Baltimore, spend it slow on the indoors Harbor; i think of there's a cap city there, too, and additionally evaluate fishing there or in Annapolis, on the Chesapeake Bay. Too undesirable you do no longer desire to do golf equipment - in Adams Morgan, Madam's Organ oftentimes has united states of america and bluegrass song, and the Tiffany Tavern in previous city Alexandria has super united states of america, persons and bluegrass. So if a song venue is exciting, examine those out. comparable for Iota (varies lots, yet probable is in his selection of activity) in Arlington's Clarendon section. Ask approximately that, on condition that he pronounced song. I additionally might propose for nightlife Adams Morgan, Penn Quarter Chinatown, the Waterfront, and the U highway section (if Jazz is any activity) as properly to previous city - i think of previous city has a tendency to be a sprint stuffy. desire that enables.
