Judging by the fact that you say that you watch desperate housewives, I would think that you would liike the OC more. However, you may want to try a new or different genre of television programme. If so i would personnaly suggest that you watch lost.
The choice is not mine, and if you want some background information, you can always research the two shows.
The OC is basically about a bunch of yound adults and their trial and tibulations and lost is a bunch of people stranded on an island, courtesy of their crashed plane.
My advie is to try them both. You might want to watch both of them!

I'd say the OC, I don't watch either show but I did watch Lost at one point never watched the oc but i'm gonna go w/that.

my first suggestion, would be go by a book, but since this is the age of cheesy tv, get the oc,,, lost is lost in its own storyline and plot, at leas the oc knows what it wants out of its show.

The OC is what I prefer. But dont imulate what you see. There is quite a bit of grown up content in it.
Try the discovery channel, they have some really cool crap on that, and it doesnt involve spoiled rotten rich kids!
