I'm sorry, but even though they are playing close to home, they are going down to Oregon. Aaron Brooks and Malik Hairston are just too lethal.

If you want a George Mason of 2007, look for Davidson to do some damage if they can get by Maryland. The Terps will be their toughest matchup.

It will be no one this yr or for that matter for awhile. I mean G Mason was a 11 seed and they still had a harder road than what Miami OH would have if they won the same amount of games to get to the Final Four. It just doesn't happen. Last yr was amazing.

Miami OH? MAN PLEASE HELL NO. Winthrop got a better chance then any lower seed mid Major. I seen that team play UNC and other major squad they got a chance to goto the Sweet 16. They will play either GT or Wisconsin in the Sweet 16. They not gonna be a George Mason. We not gonna see that this year because Drexel is out.

I don't think that one will happen. Oregon has lights out guards and a big man. a team from the MAC isn't gonna match up with a powerhouse out of a strong Pac-10 this year

Winthrop has a great shot in my opinion...they will beat ND, then Oregon (which is so hot and cold...since they were hot in the Pac-10 tourney, they'll be ice old in the NCAA), then they get the Wisconsin/UNLV-GT winner...they can win those 3, but would lose in the Elite 8 for Florida (unfortunately....I HATE FLORIDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

How about the old Miami? Miami has a long history of pulling upsets in the tourney... going back 40 years...
