Why do some people hate Abercrombie & Fitch? That is pretty much the main store i shop at. There are a couple of reasons people complain about but i dont see why they do

A) People dont come up and ask them for help
-Their not suppose to. I have heard their trained no to so they dont bug you
B) Its too expensive
-Some people by fur coats that costs thousands of dollars and only wear them a few times a year

So, why do people hate A&F?

i personally also enjoy A&F, but yeah, they are kinda pricey. i like the fact that people aren't down your throats looking to help you. ask me once and then leave me alone. i didn't come to shop with you, i came to shop by myself thank you.

but there's a couple reasons why people don't like them. first, they are very very discriminatory in who they hire. They generally only hire "attractive" people and generally don't hire minorities. Not sure if its true, but that's what i've heard. Secondly, its a style that some people just aren't into. Some people don't like goth, some people don't like prep, some people don't like beach or bohemian. It's just a preference thing.

Some people may buy expensive fur coats, but I doubt they're the ones complaining that A&F are too expensive - more likely that complaint is coming from people of modest income who can't afford to shop for overpriced trendoid clothes.

Which brings up another reason people might hate your favorite store - it has a trendy, overhyped vibe that might put off people of a more independant mindset. I know that one works for me.

Dude, listen I am sorry but the reason I hate A&F is bc the pixs on the wall are VERY revealing. Also the clothes are very expensive ( especially when you r to young to have a real job but are old enough to buy your own clothes I am 13). And the jeans are the most uncomterable things ever and nothing there fits right on me. I am not a fat person justI am sort of short and nothing really looks good on me.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I bet there's some stores you don't like.

The style at A&F is rather limited and only looks good on certain body types. There's nothing wrong with that - it just doesn't work for everyone. And the clothes are rather expensive (and I'm sure that those people complaining aren't purchsing fur coats either.)

But there's nothing wrong with having your own opinion.

I dont believe in paying just for a lable on my clothes or to be a walking ad compaign for a store that over charges for cheep cotton. However, I do always say that to each his own, so if you feel that you are getting a good product for a good price who is anyone else to tell you that you are wrong. Wear what makes you happy.

I think A&F is way too expensive. The last shirt I got from there several years ago got holes in it after wearing it twice!

I don't hate them, I just don't like them. I don't shop there. There is nothing special about them that's better or worse than any other store.
