I had the same problem! Let me give you a helpful hint. Take them at night before you go to bed. They will still do the same job and you won't get sick so they still work. I'm telling you it's the best way around the problem! Good luck! PS..... I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to take another one. They are just vit. and you or ur baby can't get hurt from them. They are the best form of vit. out there!!!

I had the same problem. Even after the morning sickness was gone, i still couldn't take my prenatal vitamins. The pills themselves made me sick to my stomach. You could try taking them without eating and see if you can keep them down long enough for them to dissolve. But as far as taking another pill right away, i would consult your OB/GYN about that before doing so.

Did the pill come back up also? Might be kinda hard to tell if you didnt see it! But, if you really feel like taking another one, it should be perfectly safe!

I've gone a day w/ out than took 2 the next day and eveything was fine!

Good luck..

I wouldnt take another one, but starting tomorrow, take them at night when you are less prone to vomit. Its okay to miss a dose of your prenatals, so its not going to effect the baby. You don't know for sure if your body absorbed the first prenatal pill; so to be cautious, I wouldnt take another one. Prenatals contain iron and its not good to take more than a daily dosage of iron as it can cause constipation etc;

I always made sure I ate something before I took my vitamin - the one time I didn't it came right back up! My morning sickness also slowed when I ate something right away in the morning. It won't hurt you to take another pill :)

Sure, i don't see why not? Do you always throw up your prenatal pill, if so, you might want to ask your doctor to prescribe another type or get a different over the counter brand :) Good luck, feel better! :)

I don't think it will hurt your baby.

My OB suggested that if I couldn't keep the prenatal vitamins down that I substitue 2 flinstones chewables (One with breakfast one with dinner).

Try adding extra B Complex to help with the morning sickness. You'll feel better and you'll have a nice energy boost.

Congrats.

i'm no longer taking something until finally I talk over with my generic practitioner. My first appointment is on Friday. i'm taking a prenatal pill. yet i heard that your physique can could desire to plenty a good ingredient, and that i do no longer wnat to do something to break my toddler. while you're constipated, then you certainly could desire to consume issues with fiber in them. Have a bowl of mini wheats wide-unfold, get some entire grain crackers, consume some slices of bread. something with fiber will help your digestive device. good success and that i say do no longer take something greater until you talk on your generic practitioner.

you don't need to take another one. When I was pregnant I couldn't keep the prenatal's down at all because they had too much iron. I took Flintstones and the Doc said it was the same.

You shouldnt have to take another one because they dissolve very fast but if you would feel more comfortable if you took another one than it should be perfectly safe to you and your baby. Try taking them in the morning with saltine crackers or dry cereal and see if that helps you keep them down. Good Luck with the rest of your pregnancy.
