Your fear of rejection does not prevent rejection, does it? Neither saying yes, or no, prevents rejection. If neither answer prevents rejection, then you have nothing to lose by being honest.
Your issues are with yourself, and why you feel rejected. It is commendable that you don't want others to feel what you feel, but that is assuming a little too much, isn't it? How do you know that another person will feel as you do? Also, we are not responsible for how other people feel. We are only responsible for our own feelings.
I suggest that you get some counseling, to help deal with your rejection issues, and to help you feel confident about your own worthiness. If saying no to someone is problematic for you, you could find yourself doing something that you know is wrong, simply because you didn't want to say no. How would you feel, then?

I'm afraid I can't offer much advice other than to suck it up and say no. People will respect you for it - you're not rejecting them. You should (this may sound weird) try being a Little more selfish - if you can't say no, you'll end up taking on too much, so you'll have no time for yourself and could easily mess everything up, meaning the person who asked you for something, who could have just gone and asked someone else, has more work to do.

Yes, I used to have that problem really badly. So badly in fact, that when I was 18 and at university I remember sitting surrounded by piles of work that I had agreed to do for other people. The trick is that you HAVE to learn to toughen up, otherwise people just take advantage of you. From time to time I still find it difficult but I've learned a lot from my mistakes, and you will too.

Repeat the word in your mind. Keep repeating, and rejection is a part of everyone. The next question that you come upon, say a quick millisecond no. It starts with the simple things, see.

Every day unfortunately, No doesen't seem to have made it into my vocabulary, i never had a problem saying yes.
It usually happens at work I.E "can you do an extra delivery"
and even though i know it is going to make me late home i always end up doing it and then i end up kicking myself for being a wuss.

I keep having to say it,
Walk your own walk and talk your own talk.
Don't be intimidated into doing and saying things you don't like and don't agree with. Stand your ground and you will be accepted for your honesty and integrity.
