There's a potential illiterate born every few minutes. It's a natural process, that teachers try to "beat out" of them against much protestation. Sadly, too many are getting loose and slip through the cracks and show up on Answers; you know that nature vs. nurture argument....

I think that we should teach more illiteracy to bigots, racists, homophobes, and other hateful people. This way they will not be able to read the ballots and vote for bigoted politicians and such.
