I lived in Southern California and went to see the Happy Mondays at a college there on the Pills Thrills and Bellyaches tour. There were only about 100 people there and they had a DJ open the set. For 2 hours the DJ kept saying "10 minutes to Happy Mondays time, 10 minutes". People started leaving but we were having fun and we were dying to see them so we stuck it out for another half hour. When they finally came out it was worth it. I had the best time at that concert. Shaun Ryder drank about 10 beers and had to basically sit down most of the time but it still was fun- we figured Bez was the designated dancer for Shaun lol. I have never ever danced so much at a concert...

Unfortunately not, but if i could rewind time back to then for just a week, then i'd go to Manchester's Hacienda and see them all there - would be so good. I bought the DVD of "24 hour party people" - all about the Hacienda and who played there - have you seen it? It's fab.
