Please, encourage him to be a good father. I know a man who ran off on his 15 year old baby mama and it was so rough on her. Tell him to do the best he can, and encourage your family to support the couple throughout this stressful ordeal. Having a baby is much better and less stressful when the family is involved and supportive. Abortion at that age can cause mass internal bleeding and can be more harmful than childbirth. Abortion at that age doubles the risk of breast cancer and makes the chance of suicide raised to 20% higher. Abortion should not be an option. Research the abortion deaths at www.Deathroe.com. Encourage her and him to stay in school, that will take their minds off this for the time being. Adoption is an option. Perhaps someone in your immediate or extended family wants a child in their life? WHo knows, this is a blessing from God, anything can happen. Lets just keep in mind that this baby is here for a reason, and support them as best you can. God Bless!

The only thing you can do is be by his side and give him lots of family support. He already knows he messed up so you don't have to preach to him about that but you can tell him he has to be a father to this child, even though he's a child himself he has to take responsibility for his actions.
Hopefully he'll stand by this girl and give her all the support she needs. First it will be a good start not calling her a chick in front of him because it will let him think she's less important, just another girl.
No matter his age it's time to grow up!

Well, first off, i hope you're not blaming yourself for your cousin's actions. He is old enough to know what he was doing. Your cousin does understand that when you have unprotected sex that there is a possibility that the lady could get pregnant, right? It is unfortunate that he is only 15, i'm sure he isn't working, still in school and most highly likely he isn't ready for a baby right now. But, what's done is done. He should speak to his parents and come clean with them. That's my advice.
