Does the pain feel like a stretching or a pulling? If so, it's something called Round Ligament Pain. It's completely normal. The round ligament supports the uterus and it stretches during pregnancy. Any movement (including going from a sitting position to standing position quickly, laughing, or coughing) that stretches these ligaments, by making the ligaments contract quickly, can cause a woman to experience pain. But the pain should only last for a few secs and then go away. If the pain is SEVERE or if it persists after you've tried resting, or if it lasts for more then a few mins. at a time, then you should call your doctor. If it's accompanied by bleeding, cramping, fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, or change in vaginal discharge...then you should call your doctor also. I hope this helps!

It could just be internal tummy "growing pains". Pregnancy is an unusual thing in your body so aches and pains will come and go, but if it's serious pain, then see your doctor to make sure everything is ok with you and your little one. :)
