I had a similar question. The websites advise that you may experience cramping after an orgasm for a while, it's normal, however, if it lasts a long period of time, like overnight or through a whole day, maybe you should go to the doctor to check it out or just take it easy for a while :) Good luck! :)

17 Wks Pregnant What To Expect

Yes that is very normal. Its just your uterus contracting. The same thing happens to me after sex, and I am 16 weeks pregnant. A good book to read is "What to Expect When You're Expecting," which really helps me out with every question I have had about pregnancy so far! Its like the Pregnancy Bible! My doctor also told me its normal to spot a little after sex too, its due to our cervix being very tender due to pregnancy; so if that happens, don't panic.. its all normal.

yes, its normal to have uterine contractions after orgasm. They feel like cramps. as long as they are light and dont hurt really bad and not accompanied with bleeding, you should be ok. If you are a high risk pregnancy though, you need to ask your doctor about it. Just relax after you have had one and massage your muscles down there and it should go away after a few minutes.

That happened to me towards the end of my pregnancy. After sex my cramps lasted several hours. This hasn't been confirmed by a doctor but I am convinced it made me go into labor early at 35 weeks (not to scare you) so I would suggest you have your partner wear a condom. When my husband did I no longer had contractions. (ejaculate has things in it that cause contractions) Better safe than sorry! Good luck!
