i'm a little under 5ft. But i have a great body shape, and I've been told I'm beautiful. I don't like runway things... but I live in a little town in Ohio.. is there anything where you don't have to like 6ft tall?

I know there are petite models - I have a friend who won some modeling competition for petite models and she is just about 5 ft. tall.
I'm sure that clothing companies need models for their petite lines; try doing a "google" or yahoo search for petite models or petite modeling opportunities in your area.

Like a previous responder said if your a child or teenager you will probably keep growing, unless your like me and are the same height you were in middle school, so wait and see how tall you are when you are at least 18 yrs old. But if you are 18 or older than you should plead your case with America's Next Top Model Show because chances are if you get on the show you meet their standards and or they have knowledge of what they can do to help you out. In the mean time if I were you I would wear really high heels (that I can walk in), clothes that make me look taller, do your research and than contact agencies if you find that it is possible for people of your stature to model. Also, what kind of modeling would you like to do (a question from a previous responder). Like they said if you really want to model maybe you would be willing to settle for types of modeling other than runway.

Runway would not even be an option, but there is always promotional modeling and actually getting into acting. There's a lot of stuff you can still get into, but you just need to start soon and be careful of who you do business with.

modeling may be an option. if you really do have a good body type and are pretty than consider it. find a modeling angency or take classes. they have them everywhere so start looking! it may be hard with being short but there are petite models and such as well. beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. good luck and follow you dreams!

you can do commercial and ads but thats about it. but you have to be gorgeous and get told that by complete strangers not just family and friends that luv you. you'd be better off if you have the perfect oval shape face. most runway models and models in general have that ideal face shape. but your body isnt gonna help u if your too short todo runway. sorri but good luck!

there's different types of models
u dont' have to be 6ft to be a model
u can be a teenage model thingy where u model teens clothing

check online which modeling agencies have ever employed short girls, n c the reason n apply to companies which u think will need for that reason !! got what i mean ? :S
if u have a good body IT IS possible for u to get a modelin job!

i'm a model and i meet model how are 4'11 or 5 ft you can be a model to because when you take pixs you can't tell how tall you are . tip go to www.modelsearchamerica.com.asp i gone there and it help alot good luck :-)

you could be. it just depends how old you are. cause i dont think they would hire a model whos over 15 but is under 5 ft you know?

I dont know I know that to be in national modeling you have to be like that tall.
