I went on an interview this past weekend and there was a 180 question personality test and alot of the questions had to do with how you feel about honesty and theft. So i was wondering about the biggest lie people have really told.
Mine was that I have a big gap between my big toe and the next on both feet. I used to tell people that I was born with 12 toes. And some people stil believe that. It started out as a joke, but I left some people believing that because it was silly.

When I was a kid I guess I was lying about some mischiefs I have done, I said I didn't or I said I did clean my room when I didn't but now I am twenty something so I avoid telling lies as it is no good, it is very no good..I think now to recall the biggest lie...well i think it was in the 5th grade in school, when I hid my student report card and I lied I had lost it just because I had bad marks..later I did a fake report card with better marks and I presented to my parents...I got caught and what surprised me was that my parents were not so angry as I expected, they told me lying them is very bad and actually I am lying myself because I can't harm the people around me with that lie, I harm myself with my results..they told me I am not studying at school to show to them how I progress, they said the study is for myself and it is my education, so I should care about it and be more responsible..that talk was an important lesson for me. I really appriciate my parents were just telling me what is not good, what is wrong without pushing it on me and they left me to realize it by myself.

Of course I am not doing such things now that I used to do in the teen age, I really hope I am more responsible. I believe in God and I think lying is very no good. It is really good to be honest and to give your best in helping the others, because lying after all causes problems, disagreements, mistrust, breaking of promises and it leads to despise, anger, hurt and loosing people we care. I am really trying to avoid lying nowadays even for small insignificant matters.
