If its anything like what I had its called "Breakthrough" bleeding.
Meaning some of the small blood vessels on the uterus have broken.
Its very important to see your doc right away to make sure its nothing more serious.

I've heard it could be normal, you could bleed throughout the pregnancy normally, but i'm not a doctor. If there is pain involved or if you have any doubt in your mind, consult your ob/gyn immediately or go to the local ER asap! Don't take any chances for your sake nor the baby's sake! :) Good luck.
