They say to wait until you've had 2 reg. periods. But in my case, I just went off the Nuvaring last month and I conceived right away. The reason why they want you to wait for 2 periods is because it will be hard for them decipher your due date if you conceive right after going off of BC. Not because of the risk of ectopic pregnancies. Good luck.

Normally, it is perfectly safe to get off the pill and start trying right away... but since you recently had an ectopic pregnancy, you really need to talk to your doctor. You are going to get all kinds of different answers on here, and really your doctor will be the best person to get advice from. Good luck, I hope everything works out for you!

Many women get pregnant straight after (some even whilst on) the pill and have healthy pregnancies and babies. However, I got pregnant right after I came off the pill and ended up miscarrying so take care.

To be safe I was advised (after the miscarriage) it's best to wait at least 3 months after stopping the pill (2 or 3 'normal' periods).

maximum healthcare professional's advise waiting 2 cycles yet there won't be lots evidence that commencing stunning away is a topic. it could take a pair of months for the hormones to thoroughly pass away your physique although. After being on the pill in case you're customary it averages approximately 8 months of attempting before conceiving.

Since you have had an ectopic pregnancy, talk with your Dr. If possible I'd see your Dr anyway, for a preconception check-up (something I didn't do, but wish I had). Start taking prenatal vitamins with folic acid, because so much happens before finding out you're pregnant.
I wish you the best of luck!

When you're ovulating normally again I would say. However talk to your doctor when you think you might be pregnant, there's a theory out there that says that women who went on the pill have a harder time conceiving, so just make sure everything's well when you're pregnant.

You should start by not wanting to get pregnant, just have sex everyday or every other day and don't think about getting pregnant, just have fun with your partner. Get more useful information and guides to get pregnant herehttps://tr.im/sDAyJ
after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted
eat healthy
back off caffiene
workout, even if its just a 20 minute walk a day, be active.

Ask your doctor.

I would wait at least six months, but your doctor is the only one who knows your history and your circumstances.

Good luck!
