Yes I think that it is necessary in the US because there are certain kinds of people that are more likely to cause pain and suffering to us so if we have to profile to protect, let the profiling begin!

Tough question, I am for racial profiling, simply because the data supports that terrorists are young to middle age, middle eastern descent. The major drawback I see on it is that it could become so that thats ALL the law enforcement officers look for. I don't believe it is necessary or useful to search families traveling with children, old women, old men or anyone wearing a "keep on truckin tshirt"...these are not the type of people that are looking to destroy people or places.

Errr not really, most terrorism in the USA is done by citizens, not identifiable radicals. Also, the 911 terrorists for example didn't look like Arabs. I've seen somewhere that some of the Muslim terrorists use Italian passports, so they wouldn't be identifiable.
Plus what would be the point, there's plenty of white Muslims out there. There's also far more good people out there then extremists.

sure its a great idea if a cop sees a black man driving a new car he should pull him over and check him out .
this only makes sense they do after all promote gangs and crime in there noise called rap . this is a wonderfull thing soon the gangs will rule the nation and we can all shot each other wouldnt that be more fun . i think its a great idea .
at present only the whites are picked on for using freedom of speech but thats fine soon we call all say everthing is racist and have a great war . oh what joy that will be .

Well to me no one should be judged on the color of your skin, but on that person's personality. To answer your question racial profiling is not necessary, because not everybody in that race is bad u know. Also I don't think no body should judge someone like that because they won't like it if they were judged that way, that's wrong to me. You should really get to know the person before you judge them. Its just like the saying don't judge a book by its color......

yes it is...but libs dont believe there is a threat by one specific group so they will call me a racist for my statement.

Tell me, who do you consider more of a threat when boarding a plane? A older white woman or a man in his 20s-40s of middle eastern decent? I have personally witnessed, airport security wand the white old woman and let the middle eastern man right on through.
