I took an ovulation test on the day I thought I was ovulating, it had two of the SAME color lines, which means I was ovulating...right after I took the test my husband and I had intercourse, and even again that night. But today it day 26, and I am spotting. How is it that I was ovulating and I had intercorse and I am not pregnant? Yes, He has been tested many times and we both are healthy and everything is good with us.....

Just because you are ovulating and the test says so, doesn't mean you will definitely become pregnant on that day or around that day or at all around that time. It just means you are more likely to on those days. Just keep trying and i'm sure everything will work out. :) God Bless

When you get a positive ovulation test it does not mean you are ovulating right then--it means you will probably ovulate in the next 24-48 hours. Even with well-timed intercourse the average couple only has a 20% chance each cycle. Many other things could have happened--your cervical fluid may have hostile and killed the sperm, your tubes may be blocked, you may not have ovulated or the egg may have been of poor quality and not fertilizable, your husband's sperm may not have been able to penetrate the egg, etc.

Hey, this is more an answer of your other question. Here is an inspiring story. My mother always wanted children, but at age 20 she was told she would never bear children. She was upset, but accepted this devastating news. At age 37, her belly stuck out. She went to a doctor and haleluja she was pregnant. this miricle child was me. The doctors could not explain how, her womb, they told her, was not hospitable toward a child. Nine months later a healthy girl. She couldnt have asked for more. A year and a half passes and she again gives birth to a girl. They had to give her a histerectemy because of after-birth complications, but this was a second miricle baby! You see? Do not lose hope, let this inspire you. Best wishes,

You still might be pregnant even if you are spotting. I had what I thought was my period, and then a few weeks later started having very positive pregnancy signs so I decided to take a hpt just to rule it out and sure enough it was positive. He is now 2 1/2 years old, so don't give up hope just yet, wait a few days and take a hpt just to be sure.
If you want more information do a google search on implantation bleeding. Best of luck to you!

I know that this is something you dont want to hear but there is only like a 25% chance of healthy couples to concieve each month. My husband and I have been trying for 9 months and Im pretty sure Ive ovulated each month and Im still not pregnant. But dont worry IT WILL HAPPEN!! Just relax, keep at it, and keep faith! God Bless! It will happen for all of us who are trying!

I have been charting for 3 months, having sex on and around ovulation days, following all the "rules" and I am still not pregnant either. I know how frustrating it is.
