Start saving money for the first time it breaks. The mechanics love BMW's, the owners pay big bucks to get the BMW's repaired.

Make sure you read the owners manual. Join your local chapter of BMWCCA, so you can get announcements of driving events and Roundel magazine. Take it to the track for a "Car Control Clinic" day (I went for $85 last year, it was a blast).
Join some online forums, like bimmerfest.com. Drive safely. Have fun. Enjoy life.
