I am sat in my warm pleasant house, on my computer, with food in the fridge and my scrumptious four year old upstairs, my drop dead gorgeous husband is out at work, and would give me anything I asked for, and I just got a call offering me a new job! I am so lucky to be here and alive and well, look around you and tell me what you are grateful for..........

sat here warm and cosy with a fridge full of food (just like you) with my scrumptious 3 AND 4 year old (nearly) asleep. and my gorgeous husband decorating our bedroom.

I loved the question!!! I sit here in Titus, Alabama. The weather outside in close to 80 and the sun is shining with all its passion. I have friends that care enough about me to confront me when they think I'm making a mistake. I have neighbors who care enough about me to help me out in any way, shape, or form and keep thier eyes and ears open about things that involve me. I have a brother that I just found in October after not seeing him for 17 years who loves the life out of me. He sticks up for me. He pushes me to be all that I can be. I have a dad in prison that I have not seen for 17 years that I get to see this weekend. I have a puppy that loves curling up next to me. I have a house that is warm and a fridge that has food in it. I have power and water. I have a car that runs well and is good on gas. I have a baby forming in my stomach. I have a dream that I am fighting for that is slowly but surely becoming real. I have children around me that depend on me for guidance. I have a job that pays well and is fun. I have 10 neices, 6 nephews, 16 uncles, 16 aunts, a step mom, an adopted mom, a dad, 17 siblings, a grandpa, a grandma, a great grandma, cousins and the rest of the gang that are always there for me. I have a God that takes my mistakes and turns them into lessons that make me a stonger and better person. Yes, I am ectreamly blessed.

I am at the public library to get warm and spend the day indoors. I think of my wife and kids and wonder if I will ever see them again. She took the kids and left the state with the manager at my job, after he fired me and blacklisted me from my profession as a chef. I have to leave at 5:30 to get to the soup kitchen in time for dinner. They pray over the food and I think how lucky I am that I'm not a drunk or crackhead like all the others sharing in my blessed soup. Life is good.

I feel the same
i feel so blessed right now
and i thank god as often as i remember
because one day you could be blessed the very next day you could be cursed.
I have a nice house, and all the material stuff one could need
but most of all my boyfriend, who is the father of my three children
oh and like you say lots of food,
how could i forget my lovely food in the fridge :-)

Well I am sitting in a warm apartment, plenty of food, my granddaughter is lying on the couch watching tv, her mother (my daughter) is at work and will be home soon,,,I don't have a husband or a job, so I don't have everything, but the things I have, out weigh the things I don't.

Very, I just get on my pity pot sometimes and forget just HOW blessed I am. I have a decent job, three kids that love me no matter how kooky I am, a husband that is always home, a home, a car, my Mother I can call at the drop of a hat....oh, the list just goes on and on.

I was very grateful, that after 4 hours stuck in the toilet, someone eventually came with some paper. That was a blessing.

I'm happy at my job, my boss is gone for the day, my sexy husband is gone to work and has called me many times to say I love you, my pets are healthy and happy, I got a letter from someone I've been thinking about often, and most-of-all I'm healthy and still breathin'

i have a mum and dad who love me and would step in front of me to take a bullet (but wont let me do a lot of things!) i have some good friends. i have an awesome family who love me. i have food, shelter over my head, clothes, this laptop, ipod, phone, get good grades in school.. so hopefully one day i will have a good paying job. i am a very happy and smiley person (Though not inside)
