I was criminally charged and have been told to get fingerprinted even though I am innocent and believe that it will be dismissed by the court.

If you've been charged, the state has a right to fingerprint you.

Normally, fingerprints are taken of the suspect at the time a criminal charge is made - they don't tell you to go get it done yourself. Are you sure this is a criminal charge?

LOL if you were criminally charged.. you were likely arrested.. which means you have already been fingerprinted.. thats standard proceedure in all 50 states on arrest... innocent guilty dosent matter yer in the system (what drugs were you on again?)

If the court tells you to get fingerprinted, you have no choice.

If they tell you to report for fingerprinting do it. It isn't an option whether your guilty or not guilty.
