Good luck! It is hard to answer that question because policies aren't uniform from one school to the next. However, I would think your chances are reasonable. Is there a chance that you had a good relationship with a professor or advisor at the university despite your poor record there? If so, that person might be willing to put in a good word for you also.

If you do get back into the university, consider taking a lighter load for the first semester so that you can assure you'll land on your feet and start off with a positive record on this second attempt. For example, my students usually take 15 credits, but 12 is considered a full load, so if you were one of my students, I might advise you to only take twelve and thus give yourself a little extra time and focus on those classes.

I hope it works out for you.

i might notice besides and write a compelling assertion concerning what you have discovered approximately your self from that dismissal and how that's helped you to alter into effectual. i grew to become into brushed off no longer from a school yet from a application in the college and that i took up yet another significant. I nevertheless had to describe that dismisssal to the regulation faculties I utilized to and that i've got been given in to three of them, WITH tutorial scholarships. So do no longer provide up. regrettably, you ought to nevertheless might desire to pay the piper a litttle by making use of settling for a school with lesser standards than you need (a state college as a replace of NYU or Colgate or Vassar) yet you will get a level and it will nevertheless be properly worth something. good success.
