I've been on the pill packs for 6-7 months now. I have always been regular as far as my periods and whenever I took the last active pill in my pack, I immediately got my period the day after. Lately, I have been wanting to get pregnant so I have been purposely missing a pill here and there to see if it will happen. I'm in college and it's tough, but I figured now may be the best time. If I don't get pregnant then it's okay too.

So last Saturday, I started feeling queasy and vomited that night. I got cold symptoms and was generally feeling sick all week. This past week I started getting a specific craving for potatoes, I noticed I was going to the bathroom more, I am still feeling nauseated (no cold symptoms anymore), am having hot flashes at night, and when I decided to not take the last 3 pills in the pack I did not have my period like I always do. I am now 4 days late and I'm wondering if I may be pregnant. Am also having cramps. My fiance and I have had sex about 2 times a week. ?

If everytime I've stopped the active pills I've had my period on the next day, is it strange that today (four days after the last pill I took) I still am not having a period? Also forgot to mention that yesterday when I urinated, a few drops of blood came out but when I wiped, there was none left? What's that about?!

TAKE A TEST! TAKE A TEST! TAKE A TEST!

THAT'S THE ONLY WAY TO KNOW!

You could be pregnant - even sounds like you are. Taking a test is the only sure way to find out.

Stop taking your pills like that though, you're just messing up your system. Though you won't show pregnancy symptoms if you do it, you can mess up your period something awful. I know I did it! That could be the cause of your lateness.

Also, if you want the baby so badly, it could be that you just had flu and now convinced yourself you're pregnant - hence the regular symptoms. I've done it to myself in the past with my fierce 'need' to have a baby.
