There are so many to choose from...where to start?
Kelley Armstrong- Women of the Otherworld series
LKH was actually my favorite author until I picked up Bitten by Kelley Armstrong whil waiting for the next Anita book to come out. While Bitten is my favorite (and also the first book in the series), the rest are very good also. Her series has werewolves, witches, demons, vampires, ghosts...a little bit of everything. If you like LKH and Kim Harrison, get Bitten as soon as possible. You will love it.
J.R. Ward- Black Dagger Brotherhood series
Excellent vampire series. A lot more of the story is told from the male perspective than in many of the other series I read. Ward's vampires are edgy, dominant, hardcore kind of guys.
MaryJanice Davidson- Undead and Unwed series
If you also like hilariously funny books, no one beats MJD's vampire series. I can't even describe it, you'll just have to read it.
Nora Roberts- Circle Trilogy (Morrigan's Cross, Dance of the Gods, Valley of Silence)
Very good vampire series. This is the only series by NR that feature vampires that I know of. However she is an excellent and very prolific author that seems to put out a new book almost every month so she is a fabulous writer to get hooked on. Many of her series have supernatural or fantasy elements to them. She also writes a futuristic series under the name J.D. Robb that has twentysome books in it, the In Death series. Everyone I know who reads it wants their own Roarke.
Eileen Wilks- Tempting Danger, Mortal Danger, Blood Lines
Very good author with an interesting take on werewolves.
Patricia Briggs- Moon Called, Blood Bound
Skinwalkers (able to shift to coyotes), werewolves...and some vampires. Reminds me of the earlier Anita blake books.
Robin McKinley- Sunshine
Unfortunately, she only wrote the one vampire book. However, what a book. I just wish she would write a sequel.
Angela Knight- Mageverse series
A new take on Camelot with the knights as vampires who are the protectors of earth and the Maja, or the female witches, that they have a symbiotic relationship with. The vampires are the brute strength, the maja provide the magical protection. The vampires have to drink blood from the maja, who need to be fed from. This series also has werewolves and the fae.
Sherrilyn Kenyon- Dark Hunter series
Her dark hunters are warriors from throughout the ages who were dying because of an act of treachery and betrayal that were approached by the goddess Artemis and offered a chance at vengeance against the part that wronged them in return for their soul and an eternity of fighting daimons.
Keri Arthur- Riley Jenson Guardian series
Her werewolves need sex like vampires need blood. Very erotic werewolf series, with vampires and other shifters in the mix.
Lora Leigh- Breed series
Warning...These are erotica, last several Anita books plus plus plus. If you are one of the LKH fans who are unhappy with the sexual themes in her later books, this series is not for you. With that said...
Breeds are not shifters. They are lab created with a mix of animal and human dna as an experiment to try to create the ultimate soldier. They look mostly human but have super strength, speed, senses etc. They were treated as animals- tortured, raped, and killed at the whim of the secret government agency that created them. Until some of them managed to escape and go public. If they find and mark their Mate, it creates a lifelong emotional and sexual bond. But they are on the run from the Genetics Council's rogue soldiers and the human hate groups. Very interesting but very sexual series.
Happy Reading.

Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series, most certainly.
Kelley Armstrong's series.
A newcomer I recently read, Kresley Cole. There are only 2, and they're fabulous.
Mary janice Davidson's are ok... Not nearly as fabulous as LKH.
Have you read Laurell Hamilton's fairy series? The character's name is Merry Gentry. They're really good too.
J.R. Ward's series is also quite good.
Jennifer Armintrout is a newer author who has now written 2 books. I liked them pretty well.
Carrie Vaughn, is writing a series about a werewolf, who is a talkshow host named Kitty... Its pretty good.
Rachel Caine has 2 different paranormal series. One is the Weather Warden series, which i love... not vamps, but still pretty nice. and the second is Y.A., called Morganville Vampires.
Charlaine Harris, southern vampires...
C. T. Adams & Cathy Clamp co-author a really nice series. Laurell hamilton actually said she likes their books... She never does press for anyone.
There are more, but these are the closest to what you asked for... good luck.

Have you read other books by the author of ANita Blake? I've heard that those are even better...
Have you read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, Look for Me By Moonlight by Mary Downing Hahn, or Peeps by Scott Westerfeld? Those are all wonderful vampire books.
Other than that, I must admit that I'ma bit useless, sorry. There are so many vampire/ vampire love stories that I can't think of any!

Patricia Briggs has a 2 books series (so far) called "Moon Called" and "Blood Bound". Have you tried Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles? Briggs series is more werewolves but very good, and there are vampires in it. Also look into Kelly Armstrong. She writes in the genre. S.L. Viehl has a new series under the pen name Lynn Viehl called the Darkyn series. I will post the authors websites for you. There are so many it's hard to list them all but I think this is a good start.
