Hello. I would say absolutely not! He is just ten, so seeing something that intense may give him nightmares. I would not take a child to see such a movie, but I would instead take him to see something else that perhaps both of you could enjoy... and do some male bonding! It may do well to ask him folks if that's okay with them. I'd just skip it and in a couple of years rent or buy the dvd and watch it together. I'm just being real with you... good luck.

I just saw this on Friday, and dude, the movie is rated R for a reason. There is a lot of female nudity and a LOT of violence and gore. Moreover, the violence is really stylized and unemotional (unlike a movie like Braveheart, that has violence but is worthwhile).
I would say its completely inappropriate for a 10 year old.

if your nephew likes blood and gore... yes. if he doesn't, no. there is some nudity and sex, but if youre ok with bringing him there, go for it!
