People seem to be shocked when i tell them i enjoy metal! What about you? Does your music taste go with the way you look or act?

umm...not really surprise cuz i like to wear my fav. band shirts **** like behemoth, slayer, motorhead, lamb of god, immortal, suffocation, deftones, motley crue, Ozzy, korn, the doors, ac dc, jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, and etc....but i do enjoy listenin to the classic rock like Stevie ray, foghat, cheap trick, skid row, tom petty, zztop and etc...which some are surprised

Well my taste in music is very eclectic and the people that know me in real life wouldn't find my taste in music too weird as I am a very eclectic person. However when they notice that I have a mixed CD that has Nine Inch Nails, Rick Springfield, Garth Brooks and House at Pooh Corner by Kenny Loggins all on the same mixed CD that gets me some interesting looks.

People are surprised when I tell them I'm listening to Bach, Brahms, or Miles Davis. Apparently Jazz and Classical aren't widely listened to anymore.
Then again, I guess I can see it seeming strange as I'm 20, and the people I talk to are about the same age.

I'm usually into alternative or Madonna/Shakira/Blue October. I don't think anyone really cares about what I listen to. Some of my friends get annoyed when I don't listen to rap or country. That's about it. I do like Eminem and Marilyn Manson. That may surprise some.

All the time. I listen to everything with the exception of hardcore country music and opera. Literally. Classical, rock, metal, alternative, classic rock, rap, pop-rock, Britsh invasion, indie, reggae, emo, ect.

some people are suprised...it depends on who it is. i like a little bit of everything but mostly rock..and some people just seem to be suprised cuz i dont look or act like a person that would listen to rock

sometimes. i love rap/hip hop/r&b and im a very quite person in school kinda =] lol so sometimes people are shocked!!!!!!! it bugs me a lot!
