I feel that sometimes too (also 30 wks) and he basically feels lower when I get up and walk around. But mine has been head down for a while now, and will likely stay that way. It's normal for your baby to be head up still, he may not drop until right before delivery. My first baby dropped a couple wks before I had her, and it literally felt like she was going to fall out. It made it very hard to walk! And "dropping" simply means that the baby is turning upside down and entering the birth canal, preparing for the big day. This can happen weeks or minutes before birth. So don't worry you are just fine, you still have plenty of time before he has to work his way down there. Good luck, only 10 wks left!!

At every doctors appointment i'm told that it doesn't matter what position the baby is in until about the 37th week, if the baby is breech by then they can do a Version which they try to move the baby from the outside with their hands. A little uncomfortable but totally worth it. So don't stress just yet there's still plenty of time for baby to turn.
About the dropping, i too asked the same question. I'm feeling lots of pressure between my legs but am still getting a little heart burn so i'm not sure what's going on.
It could just be the baby moving from place to place is why your belly is feeling so different at times.

When the baby drops - it feels like when you get up and walk that he could just fall out - that's how low he is. Of course, that doesn't happen. With his movements, he will feel lower sometimes more than others. I've had 3 babies, and felt that with all of them. Hopefully he will turn around for you!!

It feels like somthing is pushing against your bladder, or pushing down towards your vagina. the babys head is nestling to get ready to come out. Youll feel a lot of pressure between your legs and youll feel like you have to constantly pee. I expieranced this with my daughter, its not as bad as some say, so dont worry, youll be fine, and the baby will be perfect. good luck.
