I have a Sprint Treo 700wx and a 4GB iPod Nano. I would like to know if I can use the Treo (along with a memory card) in place of my iPod. I primarly use my iPod in my car and it's crazy to carry both devices when the phone does most of the same things that the iPod does.

Absolutely. I use my 700 with a 1 GB Flash card as my MP3 player all the time. The only issue is that you either use the head phones that came with the Treo or purchase an adapter as the earphone jack is smaller than standard jacks...your Treo should have come with "Pocket Tunes" so play away...

Go ahead! I use my Palm TX as an MP3 player, and you can burn the songs off iTunes you might've bought and rip them into Windows Media Player as unprotected MP3's so you won't be restricted to "iPod only" on those songs. Now you can do whatever you want to do to your no-longer-necessary Nano!
