Since he's a boy, you should probably have him do some outside work as well as inside work. So, things from raking the lawn to maybe a little job of painting something small. Also, maybe helping with spring cleaning by helping move furniture and washing the car. Reward him for a good job. If you are looking for outside the home, then washing cars and mowing lawns always worked for us as kids. Good luck!

In the spring, at least in our area, there is a lot of yard work. Picking up sticks and raking stones back into the driveway. If you have elderly or disabled in your area, this could be welcomed help.

Another idea is dog care. Many people are willing to pay to have someone walk, play with and exercise their dog. Maybe even check in on while they are at work.

How about a yard sale. If you work out a deal with him to help clean out your basement or garage, that he can sell the items no longer needed. Maybe even some of his toys he no longer plays with or has out grown.

Best wishes to your son on a financial success!

Why do they have to be "easy". Do you mean jobs that he is capable of doing ? Or jobs where he won't break a sweat?
I don't know where you live or what the season is but there is always yard work: mowing, raking, pulling weeds, picking up trash. He could go pick up aluminum cans or bottles and re-cycle. He could walk dogs. Wash a car.

Shoveling snow--carefully. Raking leaves. Keep his room clean. Take out the
garbage. Clean off the table, set the table. Load the dishwasher if you have one.
If you have a pet he should take care of it. There are a lot things a 9 yr. old can
do.
