I love taking our 4-month old out for stroller walks every day - did it help you lose your pregnancy weight??

I already KNOW that walking is good for you. My question is, did it help you personally to lose the weight?

It's one of the best things you can do! Good for you, you'll lose yours in no time! My sister in law started walking after she had her baby (she had gained about 60 lbs), and ended up losing all the baby weight plus 10 lbs! She looks and feels fabulous, and now she is in great shape for when she has another baby in the future (and she wants one soon). Good luck, and keep up the good work :)

The physical activity is good but you need to make sure its at a brisk pace not just a stroll. 30 mins of activity 3 days a week is recommended....if you're doing that 5 days a week you should definatley see some improvement. I have a friend that did a Strollersize class and she lost all of her baby weight. They would go for a walk and have a exercise band with them. Along the way they would stop and do different exercises using the band. The bands are cheap, look like a big rubberband and lightweight....works like a set of weights and also adds resistance. If you want to add some oomph to your walks consider getting one of those!

Not only did it help me lose the baby weight, but I'm hoping it will help me lose the extra weight I had before I got pregnant. We're very lucky to live close to a walking track. Now that it is finally warm again, I plan on trying to go for a walk at least once a day.

any activity combined with a lower calorie intake should help lose baby weight. just try to walk about 30 minutes a day for at least 5 days a week and in time i am sure you will see the pounds beginning to disappear. but when it comes to the tummy i think you might need to add weight training.
