Oh yeah I had that exact thing, and then my belly went 'down'. Early on you have a lot of bloating which can make you look pregnant.
Of course, there's also the chance that you're having multiples. If this is your second pregnancy you'll also start to show earlier.
But again, it's different for every woman. I'm 14 weeks, not overweight, and hardly showing a bump at all! And I know a girl who's only 11 weeks an looks like she's 5 months pregnant. It's really up to every woman and her body.

It's possible alright....I remember when I found out i was pregnant with my first. I had this favorite pair of jeans that I was putting on when the phone rang....you know those ones that just hug your body and feel good....well, i had gotten pulled up and ran to answer the phone...it was my dr's office telling me that the test was positive and yes i was pregnant.....i got off the phone and went back to dressing..only problem was I couldn't get my pants buttoned an zipped without lying down on the bed anymore...strange how your body reacts to really knowing something is true versus...well maybe i am maybe i'm not....the other possibility is multiples....next time you go to the doc....he'll probably listen for a heart beat....maybe he'll find 2...: ) GL

Pregnancy and weight gain really varies from woman to woman, and there are many different factors. You could feel that way because most of the time you are bloated or gassy? Is this your first child, because many women who have been pregnant before start to feel the belly a little bit sooner than others. Try not to think about it as much...you're pregnant, so the belly is something that at this point is unavoidable.

Sure, because i feel the same way. I'm 6 weeks and i don't even eat all that much, i don't have much of an appetite. I only eat when it's time to eat. You know? But my stomach is poked out more than usual as well. If you're concerned, ask yor doctor, but i don't think you have anything to worry about, you're not alone! :) Good luck with the baby and hey, keep in touch! we're due around the same time! :)

Might be some bloating. You are small but at 6 weeks, the baby is still only a fraction of an inch and very very low in your pelvis area. Best of luck to you!
For everyone that suggests twins: two babies together, at that age, would still equal MAYBE 1 inch. I didn't show with my twins until about 18 wks and I was small.

You're probably just bloated. Make sure you are drinking a lot of water and add fiber to your diet. Exercise will also help. At 6 weeks your uterus hasn't even risen out of your pelvis, so any stomach you have is a result of your body functions changing.... things slow down down there and it only gets worse but water, fiber, and a walk really can help! Also, eating small meals more frequently can help.

IS it plausible that you at the prompt are not excersising as a lot because the first infant or your eating habit are otherwise. i did not practice until eventually 4 months with my first infant, yet i replaced into very lively and ate very healthful, yet with my 2d I slacked a touch and replaced into exhibiting at 2 months and had received 10 pounds. i finished up gaining 30 with my first infant and 55 with the 2d. I bounced correct back, so i'd not problem about it. each lady is diverse and each infant that you've will be diverse.sturdy success!
