I have heard of this phenomena a lot of times before. But I never found scientific proof for it. So is it possible to lick a frog or a toad and get high? If so, how? Not that I'm going to do it or anything :) I need the answer for my physiology class.

Only if its one of those poison frog. You can look up poison frogs and hundreds of websites will show up for you.

I've heard the same thing. I don't think they are talking about your typical Amerian Bullfrog. Check on the internet into the poison frogs of the rain forests. We know that small amounts of toxins are used as drugs in all cultures...why would this "frog poison" be any different? LOL...who figured that one out!?! Good luck with your report.

I've heard it many times that it's true.
But I'm more interested in the ORIGINAL PERSON who discovered this to begin with; because it must of been one VERY DESPERATE PERSON (willing to try anything) to get high ! ! !
P.S. This could also be a outrageous rumor that ONE PERSON started that WENT WORLDWIDE and now no one has the guts to confirm (by licking a toad) one way or another

Apparently this is not true. You would need to dry and smoke the toad's excretions to get high without poisoning yourself.
