Are PC restore cd's on Ebay legit and do they really restore your PC?

your best bet would be to contact your computer's manufacturer for the correct disk(s).

Don't buy the disk. If you can log on, and you use XP, you can use System Restore (do a search for it) to restore your machine to an earlier date. If you can't log on, use the f10 mentioned above. But whatever you do, you don't need the disk, unless it's a new XP disk and you need to reinstall the OS.

I have bought several disks from the ebay sellers.
I have no complaints.
I would throw caution to the wind tho for what it is you are trying to restore.
Some disks even tho they would do the job, Might do more harm then good.

i call the vendor to get a new disk i do no trust ebay

don't do it, all you need to do is press F10 during computer start up, best shortcut key ever invented
