Shave obviously, be tan, and make sure it is lined or either has think material so you don't get any transparency when it's wet. I love white suits, the color can really be flattering on a lot of people. I would go for it.

I don't know if there is a rule, but generally white clothing turns transparent when wet. Unless you want to show off your stuff, you might want tot choose a darker color.
