There is a bit of great logic, but no real science that I have seen.
If we read the new testament carefully it tells us that there is no such thing as sin and that God would never judge or punish anyone for any reason and would never allow a place like hell to exist.
Religion does not like these ideas so it always misinterprets these verses and twists them to fit religions goals.
Love and blessings Don

Cosmology is Science; therefore, there is science in the Bible. You asked for a profound discovery of science; but, what you may get from the forward dissertation is more of a quixotic view of science in the Bible. Please keep an open mind. Here is my overture:`
.................... How many Heaven,s are there?...............
For example: Deuteronomy 10:14 says-" behold the heaven and the heaven of heaven's is the lords".
Psalms 115:16 The heaven, even the heaven's
2 Corinthians 12:2 The third heaven. If there are 3 heavens and the scriptures above speak of heaven of heavens, then who is to say how many heavens there are?
The Bible never says there are only 3 heavens, only that Paul was taken to the third (one).
.............Jesus says:................
John 10:16- " other sheep I have witch are not of this (Earthly) fold.
John 8:23-" ye are of this world, I am not of this world. Did Jesus intimate that he is from a world with structure; material?
The Hubble Telescope has given us a glimpse into the heaven's. Entropy in the burgeoning Universe may be a delusion on our part; and the labyrinthine of Galaxies could be the the heavens the ancient writers of the old and new testaments were referring. Remember, God does not create disorder.
Ephesians 1:20 Heavenly places, 3:10 principalities and powers in heavenly place, 6:12 spiritual wickedness in high places. Where are these places? What we see in the cosmos is an existential reality that we must harmonize with our current knowledge of space and time;religion and God.
Often truth is discovered in a chimerical way and it is proliferated by a preponderance of evidence that is not stifled by puritanical principles.
I appreciate your inquiry as a conduit for rumination.
Peace........

I find the ability to walk on water, cure the blind, cause an ocean to part, rise from the dead, turn water to wine, feed thousands with one fish, get 2 of every animal on a boat, amoung many other things just absolutely profound. So far in the modern scientific world, there has never been any reenactments of these feats. There has never been any proof that any of these things are possible. What I find most profound is how many people there are today who believe it happened.

I know there's some science in it.
I found out a while back that the plagues in Moses' times were likely all caused by a singular occurrence, the eruption of a volcano, the largest eruption of it's time.
So it's not that mysterious.

Original sin is an accurate notion. We are born filled with instincts that would suit us for living on the plains in hunter-gatherer societies, not in cities fed by agriculture.
Impulses that are heroic in one environment are anti-social in another, and need constant suppression.

I'm pretty familiar with it and have only seen scientific errors back to front.
