Can Bravelle be ingested?

My friend has a fear of needles and she was recently put on Bravelle (FSH) to help her achieve a pregnancy and she just informed me that because of her needle phobia, she is going to injest the medication and it will still do it's work. I have tried to convince her to at least go back to her doctor and request a medication that is meant to be ingested but she refuses saying that everybody knows that Bravelle is the right and best medication for any woman trying to have a baby. Am I being crazy by being un-neccessarily worried or should i do more to stop her from ingesting this form of medication?

She cannot and SHOULD NOT drink this... and of course it won't work; it has to be injected into muscle. If it could be injested, everyone would be injesting it rather than shooting it into their skin. You should be very worried. If she won't tell her doctor then you need to report it somehow. She could do serious damage by drinking it.

U have the right to worry, ur a good friend! Be mine! lol. Yeah...she shouldnt drink it since its for injecting!It can harm her esophagus or worse! The dr gave it to her as an injection for a certain purpose, tell her to go to the dr, maybe they can give her a form to ingest. Sry but ur friend is retarded for trying to do this! Tell her no!

anyone who would do this does not need to be having children. medicines that are supposed to be injected need to be injected, YOU CANNOT SWALLOW THEM! she runs the risk of seriously messing herself up if she does it. i would rather call a doctor and find out than mess myself up and not be able to have children.
