Rock Lee is true to his name...he rocks! I can't believe his Chuunin prelim fight with Gaara didn't make that top 5 battles episode.

Haku too! He is super strong and skilled, and is even more powerful than Zabuza! But he's also kind, gentle and doesn't genuinely like fighting or hurting people. Plus, he is a shining example of a true shinobi because he layed down his life to protect the one he card about most (Zabuza). No doubt, Haku was the best character in the show (which is why i'm mad he had to die off so quickly!)

Gaara, hands down. He seems evil, but later on he becomes a strong ally for Naruto and Rock Lee. He gets the job done, and doesnt waste time.

Neji and Shikamaru!! Thier my favourite characters ^.^ But its starting to become Neji and Gaara :( But Nejis the best
I think Neji rocks because of his awesome fighting style and the way he fights and all. So not only is he powerful, but he's a genius. Inflicting internal damage instead of external damage, now that is the biggest advantage ever! You can train every part of your body except inside of it. Yes, in the beginning he was full of it, but come on now he's rockin the show! He needs to appear more often. He's also good on all areas of a shinobi. He can definitely fight and kill in one shot, he can definitely scout and be able to find hidden traps and such with his byakugan and HE CAN BURN DOWN HIS ENEMIES WITH HIS SMEXIFIED HAIR!! MUAHAHAHA! I think its cool for guys to have long hair :P
