Would anyone happen to know the name of this book, by any chance?

I unfortunately dont know a whole lot about it, i just remember that its about this young girl called Anna, and it was about her unique personality, like how she was always questioning everything, the world around her, everything in life, societies norms and different things like that.

Ive been searching for it all over but unfortunately havent had any luck. And i know that what i remember is very vague, so i completely understand if you dont know the name of the book. I´d just appreciate any help you could give me. Thank you in advance. =D

Is there a chance it's "Anna to the Infinite Power" by Mildred Ames?

It's a sort of sci-fi futuristic novel - about a 12 yr old girl (anna) who is a genius with math and music, and kind of a nasty person - very cold - until the day she sees her own twin in the mall... and starts to uncover the truth that she's really a clone. When that starts to happen, she starts to change, growing closer to her brother and more aware and confident in her own uniqueness and her indivduality. Eventually she gets taken to a facility with the other clones - her brother gets her out and the experiment is declared a failure (although it's implied the other clones may have been destroyed.)

it's a teen novel that came out in the mid-80s.

Kids book?
Adult book?
Recent?
When did you read it (1972 or 2002?)

The book Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli fits the description, but not the name (Anna).

The advice to see you local librarian is excellent.
