It won't hurt as long as your taking in the proper nutrition and light exercise like walking. Make sure you keep taking your prenatal vitamins. You CAN NOT under any circumstances take any form of weight lose medication UNLESS you are PRESCRIBED BY A DOCTOR. (NO OVER THE COUNTER STUFF). Make sure you consult your doctor before starting any kind of diet to ensure it's safe for you and your baby. Good luck to you and Congrats.

Don't concern yourself with your weight right now. Concentrate on the fact that you are going to be bringing another person into the world. Enjoy that experience as much as possible. Just be conscious of the foods you eat. Make sure you eat well balanced meals and get some light, low-impact exercise such as walking or swimming. Being pregnant and giving birth take a lot out of you, so you should take care of yourself. Keep your doctor aware of what you are doing, too. You will most likely find that the weight comes off while doing this, but don't actively diet. I started my last pregnancy overweight. I made those changes, and I delivered a healthy baby girl weighing less than when I got pregnant. Feel free to email me if you need any support!

Good luck.

If you say you weight 300 lbs, it is ok to lose weight during pregnancy, but if you were like 150-180lbs it wouldn`t be that safe. Just go with something natural like Herbalife.
LACTATING or PREGNANT WOMEN
Formulas 1, 2, Cell Activator
Rose Ox
Schizandra Plus
Herbalifeline
Xtra-Cal
Lots of liquids

Baby, I live in Europe and I heard with my own ears in the doctor's waiting room how a woman doctor told to a pregnant patient of hers that she was too fat, and if she gets any fatter than that , and she said that in the hospital where she was practicing the best doctor she knew had the same policy.
It is probable that they didn't want to risk complications during birth.
BUT, I was ready to snap the doctor for what she said, if I was that woman I would have slap her face.
If you can't get fat while pregnat, then when?

LAST MINUTE. be happi and mimi had answered you wonderfully, would be nice if you could listen to them.
Good luck.

No it is not ok to lose weight when you are pregnant. Do it before you get pregnant or after you have the baby.

You should be eating healthy foods, for your baby. S/he eats what YOU are feeding him/her. If you were eating fatty foods, you can stop now, and eat smarter. Your baby will appreciate it. You will also loose weight smartly, without hurthing your baby. Don't forget to drink lots of water (atleast 8 cups daily), and take your pregnancy vitamins (folic acid).

You must talk to your doctor about this. Ask him/her to refer you to a dietician, who can help you plan good meals.
