I'm writing a story where a boy finds out something about one of his new friends (he's a robot). This fact isn't a major part of the story, but important none the less, and I want to make the main character's reaction believable. So how would you act if this happened to you, or how do you act when faced with new facts about someone?

as a writter myself and as a person who has found out things about others and seen the reactions of others finding out things about me I'd say that the boy would most likely be first upset (depending on how he finds out that his friend is a robot), then in awe, and then the reaction would be one of delight and envy prehaps.
