Has anyone studied it and can give some examples where and how it's harder to learn than say the Princeton Offense.

you have to have constant spacing to work favorable isolation match ups(if you ever wondered how in the world MJ used to end up one on one this is how)...then it switches from one side to the other when the 'shooter' works free...so everyone must know where they should be, or heading when the ball goes to the high post or out to the corner...all this while maintaining spacing and 'picking' the defenders...it is more intricate than normal isolation plays because many times in the offensive sets the big guys are drawn out of the key, and forwards and sometimes centers pick to free the shooters and roll to the basket for easy baskets or rebounding position...much more difficult than two man clearouts (what the lakers ran with magic and co., and stockton /malone)...or single man isolation spread...which is what a lot of teams run with their best scorer when time is running down...

they think it is hard to learn because there are so many different options on what can happen if the ball goes to certain spot. there is probably 3-4 plays when each person catches the ball, and even when he passes ball to another person, there is another play there to run....my high school team ran it for about a week, and players/coaches were so frusterated with it, that we ditched it and went to another offense....maybe thats why lakers are struggling right now...also, KOBE doesnt know how to make an equilateral triangle :)

i think it is harder. there our alot of different possibility's. the main focus of the triangle offense is to stay spread. the other thing is to have good passing. its hard for the lakers to run this offense when they have no post pass players. there best passers can pass from the post lamar and luke but they are injured. another thing is team chemistry and the feel for what your teamates are going to do which the lakers have had none over the last 6 games..
