Have you heard the saying "Nine months up, nine months down?" It takes time to get everything back in shape. Even though I'd dropped all my baby weight by 6 weeks, my clothes still didn't fit the same because of the "pouch."

Exercise alot bye walking around like at the park or neighboerhood. Join a gym and that will help more than you know. It's not that expensive, only like $30 a month or so. Watch what u eat, even though I know it may be hard. Eat stuff like baked chicken with one of ur favorite spices, instide of fried chicken. Eat subway or something like that instide of other fast food places. But really 5 weeks isn't nothin. Trust me, trust me, trust me............ur belly will go down more, it just takes time. Plus working with ur baby all the time will help work off some of that pouch. Good luck and congrats on the baby!!!!! PS... Crunches help get ur tummy muscles back together and in shape. That helps alot.

Do you breastfeed? If so, that will help you shed the "pouch" sooner, because you burn alot more calories by producing milk, trying to keep up with supply and demand. Also, when you feel up to it, try doing a few sit-ups a day. Start with ten, and go up from there. Don't worry, in due time, your tummy should go back to as close as 'normal' as possible! Good luck to you!

First of all, you don't have to worry yet if you just had your baby 5 wks ago (congrats by the way!)... If you are nursing your baby, that will really help shrink your uterus faster. Also, when you go walking, do housework, or any activity when you're on your feet, try flexing your abs while you walk. This will tone them quickly, without having to set aside extra time to do sit-ups. Like you have time to do that! I remember after I had my last baby, it seemed like it would be there forever but it slowly disappeared until I was back to my pre-pregnancy size. As long as you are eating healthy and remembering to drink lots of water, you will be well on your way. Good luck!

I somewhat have had 2 C-sections and had an identical subject. It seems that I somewhat have what's called "diastasis". that's a separation of your front abdomen muscle tissue that usually heals for many mom's, yet would not in some. that would reason the tummy pooch. i bought a e book referred to as "a thank you to Lose Your Mummy Tummy", and it has somewhat super suggestion so a techniques as what workouts to do to remedy this. that's good for kind new mothers as properly as mothers who've older infants and nevertheless have the pooch. Mine hasn't long previous away thoroughly yet, however the strategies interior the e book have helped lots and are strengthening the muscle tissue. i'm additionally nevertheless engaged on weight alleviation (i'm 5 months submit partum and nevertheless have extra beneficial weight around the middle). regrettably, that's purely tougher for mom's who've had C-sections given which you have that incision interior the bikini section, alongside with scar tissue, and the floor needless to say desires to pooch over it. good success! And keep in mind, your infant is thoroughly properly worth any replaced your physique had to pass by way of. :)

The baby pouch will always be there I had my son 10 years ago and it's flatten, but lose skin is still there. Exercise will help flatten it, but there will always be that excess skin. Lipo-section will take it away if that is a route for you.

Good Luck. My baby is 8 months old and it is SLOW going! Eat right, workout, have the rest of the babies you plan on having, and get a tummy tuck! Thats my game plan.

For now I have a good body smoother...so do 3 of my friends that had babies recently!
