A good friend of mine had a birthday party saturday and me and another friend were not invited. I work with her and see her daily.

She could be:

1) trying to signal you to leave her alone
2) trying to get back at you for something you possibly did
3) needs some space

You should confront her about this, but not be too pushy. If she doesn't like you, then just forget about her!

I hope this helps!!! =)

Wow that kind of a slight must really hurt.Maybe you should give her the benefit of the doubt. Ask her how her party went, If she offers a reason you weren't invited than accept it for what it is. if she doesn't offer a reason for your not being invited. Maybe she doesn't want to come right out and hurt your feelings by being blunt. And keep your distance accordingly. Then I think if it were me, I would think that we were not really friends but more of a work acquaintance. And that is her choice. You didn't say if you do things together outside of work. Or if you phone each other, so those factors make a difference in how to perceive the situation.
