What kind of forum? On line? In some cases the answer is yes. The forum my be considered private property and your 1st amendment rights may or may not apply as you think they should.
You may not yell "fire" in a crowded theater.
In some cases you may not slander a person in a forum or libel them via a writing. On the other hand it would be up to the party that thought they had been slandered or libeled to prove that they had suffered economic hardship because of your comments. That's usually pretty hard to prove.
If the person about whom you spoke or wrote is a "celebrity." they don't have the same protections as ordinary people.
So in theory you can be sued but in practicality I wouldn't worry.

Mostly yes, and the real danger is that when you put it online you're publishing it to the entire world - a lot of countries would allow action to be brought there even if you've never been. Eg, you could write something on a forum in the UK and suddenly find yourself the subject of proceedings in Australia because someone there took offence.

(Assuming the US)
Yes. Someone can take you to court for ANY reason. It's more a question of who will win.
If you make a defamatory statement in a forum, you can be sued for it. If the statement is false and has material harm on the person, they could win.
You can be sued for putting confidential information in a public forum.
You can be criminally charges for making statements that compromise public safety.

Yes. And Yahoo could also be taken to court for publishing your comment, if they do not take reasonable steps to remove it one they have been notified.

Yes, for certain things. For example, threatening to burn a building down could get you arrested.

in theory yes but it would be demn hard to prove, your first defense would be i did not do it system was hacked, so it would be upto the prosecution to prove you did, but this would depend on the case at some point yahoo must take some liability for whats said.
