I have for years! I want to move to England so bad I can taste it. Life in the US is awful if you are poor, those jobs Americans won't do don't pay worth a sh*t! I am having to wait until I finish my education then I am outta here!

yes and I did it too and later on down the road I realized that I had dug a hole so deep that I couldn't get out of it. In my running away and not looking back I hurt the one person that I loved the most and I set a pattern of not facing the music in my own life. Sometimes you wanna run away just to hear someone call out your name. Other times you wanna run away cuz you feel that the road you have been traveling can only be mended if you escape and try to start over but always remember that the path behind you makes you into the person that you are today and that the mistakes, trials, and hardships of the past are meant to make you stronger and if you can learn from them and move on you are a better person because of them.

Ya, but it never works. We are here to face up to our fears and the universe is not going to let us get off that easy.
If we run it will just provide us with another similar situation where ever we go. So we just might as well stay where we are and deal with the one that we have.
The only time running seems to work is in abusive relationships. This is because the purpose of the abusive relationship is to teach us to respect and love our selves enough to get out of the abusive situation and take good care of ourselves.
Listen to firefly, she understands.

Absolutely and without a doubt!
Unfortunately, the thing(s) away from which one runs often find ways to catch up. The only thing worse than having things from which you want to run is having those things find you.

I think about it often, when the family do my head in. I'd like to go some where to myself and calm down. I'd love to have a day all to myself at the coast or something. Trouble is I've got a young daughter to look after.

I've felt that way many times. But by enduring whatever made me feel that way, I developed qualities that I would not have possessed, if I had run away and not looked back.

I've thought about years ago, but the consequences out weighed the benefits, and in todays societ unless you run to Africa, or the jungles of South America, yoou really can't hide anyway

Sometimes we don't have a choice..... Looking back whilst running forwards leads to a life without security and structure we all need to have a Alamo.
Likewise our loved ones need that security when starting out on life.....

Yeah, I do sometimes. I think that things would be easier or I'm missing something. But the truth is it would only be a geographical cure and all things would be there when the chaos from moving settled down.
