If you can't sew and don't know anyone who can sew, you have two options (besides the Taylor)

1. Cuff them outside and make them cute ..work it
2. buy some fabric glue (meant for denim) and cuff them inside and glue down to desired length.

Good Luck

What you do is buy hem glue in Walmart fabric dept. You trim the length with a sissor if the length is way too long, and then just pin them up to the right length and slowly a little bit at a time glue the bottom and press down with your hands. Do not wear immediately, let dry overnight. You can also wash these jeans, but on a gentle cycle. If the glue comes loose, reglue. It is fabulous stuff for people that do not sew or do not have a sewing machine. By the way it is spelled tailor.

Hi

I have this problem all the time as im short and pants are always too long.

Apart from sewing them - you can get this really good stuff. It comes in a roll - it looks like the sort of roll tape comes on. Its like fine mesh type stuff you get your trouser the length you want and fold it inside and put some of this tape inside. You then get the iron and iron over it and the tape stuff sticks all the material down - they are perfectly hemed with no sewin its sooo quick and easy!

You can buy it in fabric shops and stores that sell stuff for sewing etc.

Its really cheap too and lasts ages!!!

I always use it.

You only do it once and you can wear and wash and dry and it doesnt come off.

Its great

X

Any good seamstress will be able to take the original hem from your jeans off, shorten the length of the legs, then re-attach the hem to make the alterations unnoticeable.

Or you can cuff them ONCE (any more will look silly) if you are wearing them with sneakers.

Pairing them with high heels is the best solution for denim that is too long. But only if they are dressy denim should you wear them with heels.

cut them off or cuff them, that's all i know besides to just step on them.

i think a big fat cuff at the bottom is cute sometimes, with jeans that are tighter at the top.

In fabric stores they sell rolls of sticky tape that you can use. You just fold them to where you want them & use the tape. It's just like sewing them but easier.

Taking them to a tailor would be your best bet, but you can always wear heels!! Don't roll them up or cut them yourself, that just looks bad!! OR you could try hemming them yourself.

If the waist in the pants are big you can roll it up so that the pants don't touch the ground. My sisters do that sometimes.

You can try hemming them yourself, but I've tried and its hard. It's easier to either ask your mom to do it or go to a professional. Don't even think about cutting them and leaving them frayed, they look horrible and only get worse as they get older.
